Manufacturing Assistant Supervisor

·         Responsible for daily production, product handling, and maintenance of molding machines.

·         Provide a safe and environmentally sound production facility.

·         Provide leadership across to ensure continuous improvement in safety, quality, service and cost.

·         Manage all manufacturing operations and production requirements coordinated with plant management to meet customer expectations.

·         Establishes, implements, and monitors performance goals objectives and standards for facility.

·         Responsible for training, developing, and motivating personnel.

·         Maintains a good working relationship with staff and management.

·         Responsible for developing and implementing continuous improvement projects.

·         Maintains department in good ,clean, and safe working conditions

·         Responsible for daily communication with all departments via log book and emails

·         Shift start is 30 minutes prior, to coordinate daily activities. Shift end is 30 minutes after, to assist in communication transfer with oncoming supervisors.

·         Any other tasks needed or required by supervisor.

SKILLED IN: Operating a variety of injection molding machines, operating and performing minor adjustments and maintenance on equipment, completing job related reports and forms, communicating both verbally and in writing, including following oral/written instructions. Ability to: operate forklifts, pallet jacks and other auxiliary equipment, train others, read and understand job related materials, develop and maintain effective working relationships with others, lift, carry and handle up to 50 pounds, stoop, climb, squat, push, pull, crawl or bend on a frequent basis, various heights or in high volume traffic, stand for an extended period of time.


·         Experience 3-5 years in plastic molding industry

knowledge of molding machine mechanics, adjustments and processing
