Job Description
Auxiliary Mechanic
Department: Mechanical Engineering.
Location: Doral, FL.
Position Type: Full-time.
Schedule: Monday-Saturday. 5:00 AM-1:30 PM or 1:30 PM-10:00 PM.
Pay: $18-$20 per hour.
Summary
The Auxiliary Mechanic supports the maintenance and repair of production equipment and facility systems. This entry-level role works under the supervision of Senior Mechanics, assisting with preventive and corrective maintenance; equipment lubrication; analysis and troubleshooting of mechanical issues; and equipment changeovers, to ensure optimal plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in performing preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
- Help with equipment setups and line changeovers.
- Keep tools, workspaces, and parts areas organized and clean.
- Record work performed and report issues to
- Follow all safety and GMP procedures.

Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Bilingual. English and Spanish preferred. Spanish only okay.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year of minimum experience in a mechanical or maintenance role.
- Experience with packaging equipment is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of pneumatic and electrical systems.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical tools and safety practices.
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a team.
- Willing to learn and grow into a more advanced role.
