Job Description
Position: Cherry Picker (Order Picker) Operator
Industry: Automotive Manufacturer
Position Type: Full-time
Pay rate: $17.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 4 pm
Jobsite Location: Doral
Parts Distribution Center Processor
Perform a wide variety of activities related to the receipt, inspection, processing, storage, and distribution of automotive parts and accessories in accordance with Company policies and procedures. Performs other related work as required.
Priority Major Responsibility
- Process orders in accordance with department objectives.
- Receive incoming shipments
- Adhere to good inventory management procedures to ensure parts fill rate objectives are met and maximum space utilization is achieved.
- Put-away sorted material to correct locations and meet daily put-away objectives
- Equipment maintenance, maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly working environment.
- Operate an Order Picker (Cherry Picker)
Experience and Education
- High School graduate or equivalent is required
- 2 years experience in a warehouse/distribution or related operation doing receiving, storage and distribution of merchandise utilizing warehouse equipment.
Skills & requirements
- Certified Order Picker (Cherry Picker) operator
Effective verbal and communication skills required - Accurate math calculations - basic math skills
- Experience in operating standard office machines and equipment
- Computer skills
- Work with minimal supervision
- Perform moderately heavy manual tasks
- Follow verbal and written instructions
- HazMat certified A+
- Drug-free Workplace
- Clean Background
