Job Description
Position: Digital Press Operator
Position Type: Full-time temp-to-hire
Schedule: Second Shift, Monday to Friday, 2 PM to 10:30 PM
Pay rate: $16.00 to $20.00 per hour
Jobsite Location: Orlando, FL
Essential Duties:
Operating digital presses, which includes.
- Report discrepancies to supervisors regarding defects in press runs, such as material defects or completed print, to the supervisor.
- Ripping art files for printing
- Gathering materials needed for printing
- Performing daily maintenance, including set-ups, printing, and breakdowns
- Assist with finishing, fabrication, and packing
- Keeping the department clean and hazard-free
- Stocking materials per ERP system information
- Daily use of the tools available (boards, alerts, etc.)
Additional duties:
- Assist in loading/unloading trucks and receiving daily UPS and FedEx shipments.
- Understand and execute the inventory control process and nomenclature
- Awareness and correction of wrongly placed items.
- Following the procedures listed on the daily reports
- Properly shipping orders according to procedures.

Job Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- Bilingual, English/Spanish (Spanish predominantly)
- Must have at least 2 years of experience working in a print production organization.
Digital printing is preferred. - Must be able to diagnose, repair, and communicate any machinery problems to service providers
- Understanding of color management (CMYK, RGB, etc.)
Physical requirements:
The physical demands described here must be met to succeed in this role and are considered essential functions.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Periodic reaching above shoulder height, below the waist
- This may include lifting up to 50 lbs.
