Position: Line Operator (Panel Lines)
Position Type: Full-time
Pay rate: $17.00 to $19.00 per hour (Commensurate with experience)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6 AM to 2 PM

Job Summary
As a line operator at our paper-based protective packaging, your job is to keep production running smoothly. You will report to the Line Supervisor and the Honeycomb Department Supervisor.
Primary responsibilities
- Lead a small team, including yourself and a stacker, to run the panel production line following plant policies and procedures.
- Train and support the stacker on your team.
- Organize production startups, shutdowns, and changeovers.
- Make sure your shift meets its production goals.
- Oversee quality control during your shift.
- Adjust the process as needed during your shift to keep products within specifications.
- Reject any products that do not meet specifications.
- Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Work closely with other Line Supervisors, the Honeycomb Department Supervisor, and the Plant Manager.
- Keep your work area clean and safe. Regularly clean the machine to prevent glue
buildup, clear waste from the line at the end of your shift, and complete all required paperwork.

Work environment
This position operates in a standard manufacturing environment and requires lifting materials and products up to 50 pounds. When operating machinery, employees must use safety equipment, including eye protection, hearing protectors, gloves, and work boots. Loose-fitting clothing and jewelry are prohibited.
Job Requirements
Basic requirements
- Always wear your seat belt when operating forklifts.
- Wear required personal protective equipment, such as safety glasses and cut-resistant gloves.
- Have at least one year of experience working in a manufacturing production environment.
- Hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
- Be able to read measurements accurately.
- Be bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Have a clean background.
- Work in a drug-free environment.
- Be flexible and willing to work overtime and weekends as needed.
