Job Description

Position: Reset Merchandiser
Employment Type: Full Time
Industry: Food Distribution
Pay rate: $120 per day + $100 weekly fuel reimbursements
Schedule: Monday to Friday, Some Saturdays
Jobsite Location: Lawrenceville, GA

Basic Duties Include

  • Build & take down product displays
  • Stock or restock products according to a new plan
  • May tear down and rebuild whole sections of the store
  • Transport products between the backroom and display floor with manual equipment
  • Determine which merchandise goes where.
  • Place price or sale signs that go with the items being stocked
  • May include installing coupon dispensers, special wire racks that hang from shelves, pegboards, or cardboard stand-alone displays.
  • Match SKU numbers to correctly price similar, same-brand items

Basic Qualifications

  • Must be able to follow a Planogram, or diagram, of a new shelf or display
  • Ability to complete the work on schedule and according to plan
  • Physically able to lift and open heavy boxes
  • Interpret drawings of dimensions of aisle shelves, end cap displays, or specially constructed stand-alone displays

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States. Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Must have current vehicle liability insurance.
  • * Must have a driving record with no major moving violations in the last three (3) years.
  • Must provide and maintain a personal vehicle for use during employee working
  • Clean Background
  • Drug-Free

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1-year experience working in replenishment or as a Merchandiser.
  • 1-year experience working in grocery, retail, consumer goods, warehousing, or related field.
  • 1-year experience working in physically demanding fields such as construction, food service, landscaping, manufacturing, military, nursing, or related experience.
  • 1-year experience working with manual or powered pallet jacks. Powered pallet jack certification.
  • 1-year experience working under little or no supervision.
  • 1 year of college coursework in business, marketing, communication, or related areas.

*Major moving violations include but are not limited to, leaving the scene of an accident, and driving under the influence (DWI)

Job Requirements

Physical requirements

  • Utilize hand tools such as box cutters
  • Repetitive lifting, carrying, and positioning objects weighing up to 75 pounds without assistance
  • Repetitive pushing and pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance while kneeling; squatting; reaching above the head; reaching at waist level; reaching below the knees; and bending at the knees.
  • Repetitive pushing and pulling manual transport equipment containing product loads for a minimum distance of 100 yards without assistance.
  • Repetitive grasping and manipulating objects of varying sizes and weights
  • Requires fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
  • Exert oneself physically over sustained periods to complete the job
  • Able to read the information in small, medium, and large
  • Able to stand a minimum of 6 hours during a typical workday
  • Able to walk a minimum of 4 miles during a typical workday

  • Clean driving record
  • Valid Driver's License, Vehicle Registration, and Auto Insurance.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. English only okay
