Position: Production Operator
Department: Injection, Blow Molding, or Injection Stretch Blow Molding (PET) Dept
Position Type:
Full-time temp-to-hire
Pay rate: $13.00 per hour
Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday, 12 am to 8 am
Jobsite Location: Miami, FL

Production Operators are responsible for assembling, inspecting, and packing products per customer’s request; final products need to ensure Good Manufacturing Process compliance and quality standards. Must be forward-thinking, organized, efficient, and self-motivated to complete responsibilities in a timely manner without direct instruction.

Basic duties & Responsibilities:

  • Set up their production supplies (i.e.: boxes, tapes, bags) before executing the production orders.
  • Operate equipment safely and effectively for production processing.
  • Monitor the efficiency and quality of the production line.
  • Assemble and prepare goods according to the work order.
  • Complete quality assurance testing on goods and products.
  • Move completed products and packages to established locations with the proper identification label.
  • Complete assigned training.
  • Must wear PPE (dress code, gloves, earplugs, and hairnets).
  • Maintain environmental, safety, and cleanliness requirements.
  • Follow all safety SOP’s.
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and safety.
  • Identify production inefficiencies and report unsafe operations to the Supervisor immediately. 
  • Report any non-compliance of company policies or procedures to the Supervisor.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bilingual is a plus.
  • Multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision and high attention to detail.  
  • Experienced in manufacturing or other related fields. 
  • Must be reliable, punctual & able to follow instructions. 
  • Have a positive work attitude, good communication, interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work in a team environment.
  • Comply with safety protocol.
  • Able to read, speak, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
  • Must wear PPE; safety shoes, gloves, earplugs, and hairnets, and comply with the dress code policy.
  • Able to lift up to 35 lbs.
  • Clean Background
