Job Description
Warehouse Supervisor –
Schedule: Second shift - Sunday to Thursday, 5 PM to finish/part-time
Location: McDonough, Ga.
Salary: $42,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the warehouse operation, ensuring a safe work environment, high-quality performance, and optimal productivity. They perform these functions in accordance with all of our clients’ policies, procedures, and business codes of ethics. This includes full compliance with all Federal regulations.
Basic duties and responsibilities
- Ensure that our customer is adequately staffed with a staff that is ready to perform their assigned duties safely and efficiently.
- Anticipate and communicate to the designated Future Force representative all current and future staffing needs to ensure acceptable levels of productivity.
- Communicate with designated Future Force representatives about performance or reliability issues.
- Ensure that all employees use the time clock as instructed.
- Conduct interviews, orientations, and training sessions for new and existing employees as needed.
- Ensure that everyone assigned to operate a Powered Industrial Truck is certified or recertified in accordance with OSHA standards for safe operation of the same.
- Coordinate all training with Future Force Personnel and the Industrial Training Center (ITC).
- Stay up-to-date on all new and existing OSHA regulations related to warehouse safety.
- Work together with our customers’ supervisors to ensure that the work performed is being conducted according to our customers’ expectations.
- Provide ongoing input and recommendations to enhance safety and productivity.
- In the event of workplace accidents or injuries, accurately complete accident reports, including witness statements, and comprehensive photographic documentation.
- Provide recommendations for the “Employee of the Month” recognition, exemplifying a safe and teamwork-oriented culture throughout the worksite.
- Provide active supervision of staff in all departments.
- Ensure that everyone punches in and out as instructed.
- Stay up-to-date on all new OSHA regulations related to warehouse safety.
- Submit daily reports that include start and end times, as well as total orders expedited.
- Zero tolerance monitoring and enforcement of the mandatory use of PPE for each position.
- Perform appropriate testing and complete documentation paperwork whenever there is reasonable suspicion of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Job Requirements
Minimum formal education
- High School
Minimum experience
- A minimum of (3-5) years as a warehouse lead or supervisor
Language:
- Spanish AND English (Required)
Essential knowledge, certifications, and training
- Certified to operate all Forklifts, Pallet Jacks, and tuggers.
- Proficient use of RF Scanners
- Be familiar with the duties and responsibilities for every position we staff in the facility.
- You must also complete all training related to Warehouse Safety.
Essential and professional skills:
- Fully bilingual, English and Spanish
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Diligent and self-driven.
- A results-oriented decision-maker who is dynamic and assertive.
- Planning capabilities and the ability to train new employees.
Physical Requirements:
- Repetitive lifting, carrying, and positioning objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Repetitive pushing and pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance
- Able to kneel, squat, reach above the head, and at or below the waist
- Repetitive pushing and pulling of manual transport equipment containing product loads over a distance of fifty to one hundred yards without assistance.
- Repetitive grasping and manipulating objects of varying sizes and weights
- Requires fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
- Exert oneself physically over sustained periods of time
- Able to read the information in small, medium, and large text.
- Able to stand and walk during the entire work shift.
